The Collaborative Network: Revolutionising LGBTQ+ Support in the Workplace with National Lottery Funding

The Collaborative Network, a pioneering subscription-based community support and sign-posting service tailored for the LGBTQ+ community, is thrilled to announce it has secured vital funding from The National Lottery Community Fund.

This significant financial boost will enable the rollout of their LGBTQ+ Suicide Prevention in the City Initiative; a holistic approach to well-being focusing on Mental Health training, community groups, and support services across Liverpool City Region and The North West of England, marking a monumental step forward in tackling the mental health pandemic affecting our LGBTQIA+ community.

Founded by Josef Hollywood, a radio presenter at Capital FM and the founder of the successful media agency Ocular Media, along with Mike Skeggs, co-founder of Owen Drew, the Dragons Den winning business, The Collaborative Network is designed to enhance connections within the business community.

This initiative brings together businesses, leaders, employees, and professional services in a

concerted effort to support LGBTQ+ matters in the workplace.

"We are beyond excited to partner with The National Lottery to extend our much-needed

services across the region. This funding validates the importance of our mission and empowers us to make a tangible difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals in our community," said Josef Hollywood and Mike Skeggs.

"Our journey to create a more inclusive, understanding and supportive workplace environment for everyone is now set on a path filled with greater possibilities and impact."

The Collaborative Network's mission is to ensure that every business and employee has access to the necessary resources and support to handle LGBTQ+ matters with sensitivity, knowledge, and confidence.

With this new funding, the organisation is set to roll out various services designed to promote mental health awareness, provide educational resources, and offer direct support to companies and individuals seeking to enhance their inclusivity practices.
